How many days did it take your Federal Tax refund to show up in your bank account after you e-filed?

I've been e-filing every year since it became available. I always got my direct deposited refund in 4 or 5 days. My ex e-filed and it took hers almost two weeks. I e-filed 4 days ago and was wondering if I have that long a wait also. Just trying to get some feedback from those who have e-filed with dd this year.

Here is the IRS direct deposit schedule based on the day you efiled your return~~~

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p2043.pdf

If you efiled on 2/15 and did not do it before 11AM, then your direct deposit according to the chart will not be until 3/2.

I efiled on 2/1 and would of received my refund on 2/9 except I did not efile before 11AM that morning so it was postponed until the following Friday, 2/16. I remember too it being a lot faster in years past. Last year it only took 6 days from efiling to my direct deposit---this year has been somewhat slower. There was a lot of last minute tax changes in Congress at the end of the year, so the IRS needed more time to update their computers and get on board with some of the changes.
Reply:I e-filed on 2-1-07. I got my state deposited on 2-6-07. My federal was supposed to be deposited on 2-9-07 however I did not get it deposited until 2-16-07. It took alot longer this year than it has in the past. I got mine last year within 7 days.
Reply:It took 14 calender days for us to have our return with e-file and direct deposit. But if you look on the IRS's website you are able to get the status with an estimated deposit date.
Reply:i get mine the day after i file.
Reply:It should take at least 9 days, but no more than 16. IRS processes all refunds to be paid on Fridays. If your ERO (the person/software company that actually sends your return to the IRS's computer) meets their 11:00 a.m. Wednesday cutoff, you should have your money in your bank account a week from Friday. But you should understand that just because you press "send" at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday doesn't mean that your return was actually filed by then.

State refunds can be much faster; it depends on the state.
