What is the easiest Bank to open an account with?

I recently opened an account with Washington Mutual but now I cant put my husband under my account because he has fair credit. What bank is easy on your credit when you want to open an account with them?

Bank of America is easy approval, especially if you open the account online.

Try the site below for banks that are more lenient with credit, ChexSystems, etc.
Reply:ING direct is a great savings account. If your opening deposit is more than 250.00, you can get a 25.00 bonus with a referral. If you need one, let me know.

Reply:not sure if Bestbank is in your area but they offer a checking with no credit check and they dont care if you are in chexsystems. Bank of America also approved me for a checking account and they bypassed the review process for me. I applied online and my check card came in the mail the next week...

Good Luck
Reply:Citibank
Reply:US Bank offers Second Chance checking. Go into the branch to open. They also offer "secured" visa accounts to rebuild his credit. For example, you deposit $300 with US Bank (in a "locked" account), they give you a Visa with a $300 limit. It will slowly rebuild credit.
Reply:do u have a bank of america in ur city? if so U might try them i have terrible credit and I got an account with them
Reply:You could try Bank of America or Wachovia. Just make sure you go into the branch to set it up rather than doing it online. It takes forever if you do it online!
Reply:for just a checking or savings account? Sovereign Bank is really easy. I used to work there, we open accounts for anyone haha. Its only on the east coast though.
