Does the account master have to be present to replace a verizon phone with a manufacturer warranty?

My Env2's "ok" button stopped working after three months. I got the software updated a couple of days ago which just made the problem worse. My parents aren't here but my 17 year old sister can take me to the Verizon store. Do i need the account master (my dad) or someone over 18 to get my phone replaced under a one year manufacturer warranty? Thanks

Sorry...yes you do. For some reason the account master always has to be there! It sucks..thats why it took me so long to get a new phone. My dad is like never home. Anyway, the point is that you'll have to wait until you're parents are there.
Reply:No you don't. I am not my account holder and im under 18 and iv'e gotten it replaced with my sister. You can go in alone! Go to the Tech Support tell them the problem, they will look at the phone , take it in the back and within 20 min have a brand new one for you.
Reply:Yes, the account holder would have to do it. I am the account holder on mine and my wife's phones and she can't make account changes on our plan.
