In adding an additional cardholder to your credit card account, will it affect their credit?

In other words, does adding an additional card holder help their credit at all?

No it does not because they are not liable to pay the bill, you are.
Reply:If you add another cardholder to your card, there is a way to affect their credit, you would have to call your card company and have their info added to your card, you can attach their ss# onto your agreement and if you always pay ontime it will help their credit but you are still liable for the balance. Contact the customer service dept, some vary whether they will do that or not.
