How do I transfer money into my paypal account when I've sold on ebay?

I've just sold a book and the buyer has paid but it's not in my account. Can anyone help please? Many thanks.

If you login to your PayPal account and you do not see the funds in your balance on the "Overview" page, then consider the payment not completed. Now one possibility as to why you don't see the money in your balance is that you have not confirmed your email address that the money was sent to. Once you confirm the email address on your PayPal account that the money was sent to, the funds should appear in your balance (if they were actually sent).





When you register a new email address, PayPal automatically sends a "PayPal Email Confirmation" to your email address.





Click the "click here" link in the email. By clicking the link, you will be taken to the PayPal site and asked to enter your password. Click "Confirm" to confirm your email address and activate your account.





If your email program does not support embedded hyperlinks, you can follow these directions to confirm your email address:





Check your "PayPal Email Confirmation" email for your 20-digit confirmation number. Copy the number.





Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/.





Click the "Confirm email" link.





Click "Click here if a link does not appear in the email."





Enter the 20-digit confirmation number.





Click "Confirm."





If there is a delay in receiving your email confirmation notice, it may be due to your email notification preference being set to receive HTML format.

Reply:how do you know he has paid? did it just show "payment received" in your ebay account? the buyer could simply check that selection even though he/she didn't even pay. if he/she had paid you through paypal, the payment should immediately show in your account. contact the buyer and ask how and when did he/she pay. then contact paypal and see if there's such transaction.

If he has paid money into your avvount and it isn't there then he needs to argue it out with Paypal.





Make sure you don't send him anything until you get the money.
Reply:When someone pays with Paypal the money arrives right away, so if the money isn't there, then they haven't paid.
Reply:ask the buyer to supply you with a screenshot of the money being sent to you from his paypal.
