What can I do to protect my Facebook account from getting hacked?

What are safest security settings I can use, to prevent my account from getting hacked? Should I change my password often, etc?
What can I do to protect my Facebook account from getting hacked?
Yes, I would reccomend you change your password to something very complex as i have gotten reports where people have just guessed passwords because they see someone typing it on the keyboard etc.. You also want to change the password of the account you use if you need to reset the password and change the password of this account often. if someone knows how to get in your other account they can reset the facebook password because it will send an email to that other account. So basically you want to have a strong password and be wise. Never open any unkown programs and always have a good anti virus, scan your compter often (try spy doctor). a decent free anti virus program is avg, its what I use.
Reply:changing your password periodicly and making a complex password are great steps to take, also when your logged in don't click links that look funny or your not sure of. Typically those are how people will snag your info and anytime you think you might have clicked something you shouldn't have you will want to change your password.
Reply:Well you actually can only make a really good password, make it some thing with letters and numbers and make it not relate to you, make it something like C33ser0x or some thing.
Reply:have a password that utilizes the character limit, use upper and lower case, special characters %26amp; numbers
Reply:Make a complicated password and keep the paper with ur pass somewhere safe like ur wallet?
Reply:the only safe way is to have a good password, and always make sure you sign out after using.
